Mr. Banks has been dedicated to the field of library media at Briar Vista since 2016. His professional journey began in 1997 at Stephenson Middle School and shifted to elementary education within Atlanta Public Schools for a commendable 18 years.

His qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Florida A&M University, a master’s in library science from Clark Atlanta University, a second master’s in reading instruction from the University of West Georgia, and a specialist’s degree in school library Media from the University of West Georgia. 

Mr. Banks has also been a licensed real estate agent in Georgia since 2000.

In his leisure time, he finds joy in traveling, blogging, visiting refurbished homes, and treasuring precious moments with his adored cocker spaniels, Grayson and Ginger.
